I first met Emma Ellis at a networking event at the beginning of 2019. She was a sole-trader who had huge plans for her marketing business Amber Mountain Marketing. After talking with her I discovered that the reason she was so passionate to achieve was in order to give her children, Edie and Arthur, a dream childhood memory.
Emma had a brilliant business plan to offer out an apprenticeship package. Not only did this allow her to offer a cost-effective service for clients but it also allowed her to help the next generation by giving them a platform within the marketing industry. However, although Emma had this fantastic idea, she did not have the confidence to act on it.
I started working with Emma soon after I met her, early 2019, and now in 2020 (and in a pandemic!) she has 7 employees, 5 of them being apprentices! She is also at full capacity with clients, so is looking to hire more apprentices and get more business!
The best part yet is that at the end of 2019, less than a year after working together, Emma was able to take her children to Lapland for a dreamy Christmas holiday solely off of the Amber Mountain Marketing profits.
